My Review
5 of 5 Stranded
First I have to say that this book took me to another place. It got me thinking about what I would do if I ever liked a boss. It's hard to say because the heart knows who and what it wants and sometimes you have to blur the lines and go for what you want. Sometimes you just have to take that leap of faith and go for broke because in the end it is worth it.
Kara hates her boss well hate is really a strong word because she actually loves him. She wants Max so bad she can taste him but he is her boss and there is no way he would cross that line. So she has to bottle up her feelings and act like nothing is wrong when inside she is dying to be with him. Max has no idea she feels that way. Kara loves the fact that Max is a work-a-holic but she just wishes he would pay her a little attention.
Well Kara may just get her dreams fulfilled because Max and Kara are flying to a meeting when the plane they are in crashes and leaves them stranded on an island. It is just Kara and Max alone on this island and what happens there can stay there. So what will happen between Max and Kara? Does Max feel the same way about Kara? Will he act on his feelings if he has any?
I really loved this story and how it played out actually surprised me because there was no hey I like you do you like me cat and mouse chase. You have to read it to see what happens and you will understand why I said that because this story will surprise you in the end! I know it did for me and I want more from April Angel.
